hi, welcome to the first ever yapping of this blog ^^ and today, i'll be YAPPING ABOUT YUZURU HANYU GOAT PROGRAMS that are my favourites!
fyi, i dont know much about his programs yet, but i do have favourites so far and you're going to read WHY ITS MY FAVOURITE.
1. parisian walkways
oh dear, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH DEAR. this is not a phase, this short program is literally in my mind whenever i was in the middle of work and i zoned out for a bit. the song, his jumps, his choreo moves, and his stepsq STICKED TO MY MIND LIKE GLUE. or in other words, it lives in my head rent free.
my first impression of this program was its... giving yuzuru playboy vibes. IM SORRY BUT I FEEL LIKE HE'S FLIRTING IN THIS WHOLE PROGRAM. he ran his hand on his hair, he smirks, he kicks the air. he did the cuntiest move which idk what is it called, but it's in minute 2.28. that part has been living in my head, rent free and it keeps popping up EVERY TIME.
the next move i really like is a few parts of the stepsq, when he walks on his toepick, the ankle rotating shit (OMG I DONT KNOW ANYTHING) in 2.58 and that famous japanese moves that got girls screaming when he did it in a school.
yeah, to be honest. i got it why girls were screaming when he did it.
about parisian walkways, i also really liked his outfit! the simple blue shirt matches him so well and the whole vibes he's going to. so 10/10 score for the outfit.
2. let me entertain you
idk if this program is underrated, but oh boy. i immediately fell inlove at first sight when i see this program. because the outfit is kinda different from his usual ones which are sparkly, glittery, but this one, HE WEARS A BLAZER. and i loved it, he looked so cool and...handsome.
my favourite thing about this program is not his jumps, its actually ALL OF HIS CAMEL SPINS. EEEUURRGGAAAHHH, i think when he created his program, HE WAS SUMMONING POWERS TO WIN THE 2022 OLYMPICS (which he didnt, but he's a champion in my HEARTEU) that's why he chose quite a different type of song of his usual (based on my knowledge abt him) and he use that SMUG FACE that probably got all the 2020's fanyus screaming.
3. notte stellata
NOW WE'RE TALKING ABOUT SWANYU, the iconic swanyu that literally inspired me to make a seventeen au about figure skating. i looped his olympic gala 137131x just to keep my brain inspired to write lol.
about this program, I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. his outfit was pretty, he emphasizes to the song well, the elements were PRETTYYYYY. this program is PROOF that you dont need to do tons of quad to make a program memorable, live rent free in the audience's head, and SPECIAL. because goat yuzuru hanyu just do a triple axel and delayed single axel but he made the program SPECIAL.
the one specific move that i'll always remembered about this program is his hydroblade and the ending (not the spin) it's just so pretty and it does feel like he's delivering emotions. DONT GET ME WRONG, i liked EVERY SINGLE ELEMENT of this program but the hydroblade and ending just got me. i think i can tear up just by watching this live. (sorry if my writings dont make any sense lol)
this is the move that im talking about, because it does look like a swan or maybe.. an angel?
4. origin
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH
this program, THIS SPECIFIC PROGRAM. is probably the most knees dying program. i felt like every single sanity from me evaporated everytime i watch this program.
now, if you're asking, am i team origin 1 or origin 2. well sorry folks, BUT I CHOOSE 2! well 1 is pretty, but the 2.0 just got something in me. i dont know if its because my favourite colour is purple, or my fashion brain just think the 2.0 version is better than him.
this program actually gives me main character vibes, yuzuru looks like a hero or somekind of evil demon that takes peoples lifes away. he looks very cool, very slay and he looked like he OWN THE WHOLE FIGURE SKATING,
about origin, i really liked the songtrack lmao. even though there's no lyrics, but the song feels like a mix of sci-fi and fantasy which is unique! AND YUZURU SLAYED WHILE SKATING!
i really liked the way yuzuru delivered the emotions for each beat of the song, like the part where it gets kinda sad or slow he moved according to the beat and he looked majestic, i dont know man im a noob at describing how pretty this man is whe he skates.
okay... that's all for now... i'll probably going to write more because i have a lot of favourite programs. im just so tired currently lmao, im going to make pt 2 if i remembered i have a blog hehe.
